Other materials used by us: Garment label, Embroidery Thread, Sewing Thread. Certified to [ STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, class I ], the most stringent class covering textile items for babies and toddlers.
— CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS —
– 100% LINEN TEXTILE –
Wash this textile separately in plenty of water at 30C or hand wash. We recommend using only a small amount of natural detergent. For this fabric, you can use a normal spin cycle, then dry it at room temperature. As it is prewashed, it won’t shrink anymore.

No words can quite describe the degree of elation which so befell me upon opening my shirts from KnockKnockLinen. I had ordered both garments in the 'heavier' type of linen, as I had intended to wear them in the colder months, and did they ever meet these expectations! So solid, thick, and indeed, heavy, are these beautiful garments, so unlike any clothing article I have ever seen or owned. Although thick, the shirts are not bulky, and the collars sit firmly—though not tightly—on the neck. Though one might hesitate at the cost of these articles, I believe it is important to consider how very rare it is, in our age of mass production, to find clothing that not only exudes this old-world quality and character, but is also produced ethically and thoughtfully by another human person. Purchased in heavy frost grey, which ended up being a darker color than I expected, but still nice. The shirt is excellently made with many details. Watch measurements closely as both items I have ordered have been fairly fitted. Plan on it taking 60-90 days from the date of purchase to receive items. My only disappointment is that the shirt neck is too tight to button. I provided a lot of measurements, but didn’t think about my neck.

This shirt is a beautiful piece of true craftsmanship. The linen is far thicker and softer than any I've bought from popular brands — it feels sturdy to touch and wear, as do the seams. The tailoring and finishing are, in a word, perfect. The ginger brown color is saturated, rich, luminous, and subtle, a wonderful complement to the texture of good linen. The design is classic and practical (I'll never hesitate to wear this for mushroom-picking or climbing trees!) with a touch of romance — tuck it in, and the gathered back yoke and superb fit (billowy but not baggy, very flattering) make you feel like a poet or a musketeer. Egle and her talented team kindly accommodated my requests and were a delight to communicate with. Knock Knock, you have a customer for life.
