Description
The Studio Jacket is inspired by Claude Monet’s jacket and the early 20th-century sack coat. It features a relaxed fit with a classic silhouette, a four-button closure, a notched collar, five pockets, a back slit, and buttoned cuffs and elbow patches. It is made from pure, heavier-textured linen and fully lined with medium-weight linen. The blazer is designed without shoulder pads for a relaxed, soft, and natural drape.
The jacket is practical and easy to wear. Without shoulder pads, it can be laundered at home – no dry cleaning or special care required. It is a beautiful balance of creativity and practicality.
Hand wash or machine wash on a cool cycle. Dry flat. Use a hot steam iron if needed.

One day I imagined myself wearing a classic casual linen jacket.

Excellent quality, right-sizing. I got the heavyweight linen and it's good for fall and winter but I will be ordering one for summer in the light-weight. Now my wife wants something made. I don't mind the price because the style and workmanship is very good. My only suggestion would be an inside pocket and I am going to see if it can be done on the next one I buy. I'm very sad to be disappointed, they seemed like a great business. I received it and the material and make are great, but the fit is very bad. I told them I was 6'3" and I asked about sizing to accommodate that. They said "do not make size customization". So I order XL size and hope it will be enough. Then when I receive and mentioned sleeve length to them they say "Very sad that you didn't use the possibility to order the jacket with longer sleeves"! I even offered to pay for shipping for modifications but nope.

I love these "unstructured" linen garments. They have a casual elegance that makes them perfect for most occasions. I will be travelling to Madagascar soon, and these clothes will be perfect in that environment.
